Independence Policy

Why this matters

Most healthspan media has a financial reason to recommend specific products. evidage does not. This page documents exactly what we accept and what we refuse, so you can verify our independence at a glance.

What we do not do

  • No display advertising. No banner ads, no Google AdSense, no programmatic ad networks anywhere on this site.
  • No affiliate links. We never link to Amazon Associates, iHerb, supplement vendors, or any other affiliate program. Every link on this site is editorial.
  • No purchase funnels. We do not direct readers to buy specific supplements, foods, devices, or medications.
  • No sponsored content. We do not accept paid placements, “advertorials,” sponsored reviews, or PR-driven articles from food, supplement, or pharmaceutical companies.
  • No paywalls. Every article on evidage is free to read, in full, forever. We do not gate content behind subscriptions.

What we do receive

  • Optional reader donations via Buy Me a Coffee. Reader-funded only. Donations have no editorial influence.

That is the entire revenue model. There is nothing else.

Conflict of interest disclosure

The editorial team has no employment, consulting, equity, or board relationships with food companies, supplement manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, or wellness brands. The publisher (Hydro Wing Lab Inc.) operates in advanced energy systems (fuel cells, electrolysis, hydrogen storage) — a field with no overlap with food or healthcare commerce. If this ever changes, we will disclose it on this page within 7 days of any change.

How to verify

Inspect any page on evidage and look for: ad scripts, affiliate parameters in URLs (such as ?tag= or ?aff=), tracking pixels from advertising networks, or sponsored disclosures. You will find none. The publisher is registered in Japan as Hydro Wing Lab Inc., publicly searchable in the National Tax Agency corporate registry.

If we ever break this policy

We commit to never breaking this policy without first announcing it in advance, in plain language, on this page. If a future change requires a revenue model beyond reader donations, you will see it documented here before it takes effect.
